which was canceled by Netflix in April, Shahi plays a suburban mom named Billie who finds herself in a tumultuous love triangle between her husband, Cooper (Mike Vogel), and ex-boyfriend Brad (Demos). However, Demos and Shahi developed an offscreen romance while filming the show that seems a lot less complicated than their characters’.

The real-life couple first met on the set of “Sex/Life” back in 2020. At the time, Shahi was married to “Shameless” star Steve Howey. Shahi filed for divorce from Howey in May 2020 after 11 years of marriage, citing “irreconcilable differences,” per People. They share three kids together, William, 14, and twins Violet and Knox, 8.
