England players were faced with a ‘Merged Faces’ challenge ahead of their friendly against Brazil. 

As preparations for this summer’s Euro 2024 and Copa America get underway, the two sides will faceoff at Wembley on Saturday evening. 

Gareth Southgate’s men are undefeated since their World Cup defeat by France in December 2022 but have failed to hit top form in their last outings against Malta and North Macedonia.

The first photo was a straightforward one for the the England players, with all of them guessing correctly. Jordan Pickford even said: ‘Very good. What a combo, them two look alike’. 

The second merge proved to be a bit more difficult. Marcus Rashford was left baffled as he said ‘I have no clue I’ll never get that’. Meanwhile, his Manchester United team-mate asked: ‘You bantering?’ 

Jordan Henderson, Declan Rice, John Stones and Ollie Watkins were among those who got it right. 

The third merged face caused even more confusion among the England players. 

‘Who’s that?’ Aston Villa’s Ezri Konsa asked with a confused face, while a number of other were only able to guess one of the faces correctly.
