It’s been 10 days since Argentina beat France on penalties in the 2022 World Cup final, but the feud between Adil Rami and some Albiceleste players has not come to an end.
The former France international criticized the attitude of Emiliano Martinez during and after the game, calling him the “biggest piece of s**t in football”. However, Martinez’s teammate Angel Di Maria came to the Aston Villa goalkeeper’s defence.
“Dibu is the best goalkeeper in the world, go cry somewhere else,” Di Maria noted.
Rami was anything but pleased with Di Maria‘s remarks and hit back at the Juventus winger after quoting a tweet with the aforementioned phrase and pictures of the Argentine crying on different occasions.
“Will you teach me [how to cry], Angel?” Rami wrote.
It now remains to be seen whether the former Real Madrid star is willing to comment on Rami’s Instagram story.
