Back in the summer, rumours sparked about a possible divorce between Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen and now the latest reports indicate that the Brazilian top model has been talking to a divorce attorney amidst marital drama.
Meanwhile, Brady is said to be devastated by the fact that the former Victoria’s Secret Angel model seems willing to get a divorce.
Are Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen on the brink of the divorce?
“He feels very hurt by her,” a source noted to People.
According to Page Six, both Bundchen and Brady have hired divorce attorneys, but it has been reported that she hired once first.
“I don’t think there will be any coming back now,” a source told Page Six.
“They both have lawyers and are looking at what a split will entail, who gets what and what the finances will be.”
Gisele hired a divorce lawyer first
Another source at Page Six explained that Gisele has been looking into a divorce for some time now.
“Many people talk to lawyers but don’t go through with it when the realities of money set in,” the source said.
“But in this case, both sides have plenty, and it isn’t one-sided, so it could be a different situation.
“Gisele has been talking to a divorce lawyer for a while but to my knowledge has not filed anything and is still talking to Tom about their issues. This is not something that just happened today.”
Why are Gisele and Tom Brady getting a divorce?
Brady‘s decision to return to action after announcing his retirement did not sit well with Bundchen. The famous model expressed her concerns about Brady‘s career in a recent interview with Elle.
“Obviously, I have my concerns as this is a very violent sport, and I have my children and I would like him to be more present,” she said.
“I have definitely had those conversations with him over and over again. But ultimately, I feel that everybody has to make a decision that works for [them]. He needs to follow his joy, too.”
