Fans Were Shocked Snoop Dogg Performed For Trump
Fans were shocked to learn that Snoop Dogg would perform at an event honoring Donald Trump given his past comments about the 45th and 47th president.
In 2017, Snoop Dogg had criticized performers at Trump’s initial inauguration on Instagram, using derogatory language. The renowned artist had strong words for both the performers and the voters who supported Trump, sparking controversy.
In response to reports of difficulties in securing musicians for Trump’s inauguration, Snoop Dogg vowed to deliver scathing remarks aimed at those who did eventually perform at the event. The rapper made it clear where his loyalties and opinions lay in this politically charged atmosphere.
Grammy Award-winning singer John Legend told the BBC back in 2017 that Trump couldn’t find performers because “creative people tend to reject bigotry and hate.”

Trump Commuted Sentence Of Death Row Records Co-Founder Michael ‘Harry-O’ Harris
One reason Snoop Dogg may have agreed to perform at Trump’s Crypto Ball may be his friendship with Death Row Records co-founder, Michael “Harry-O” Harris.
During an interview with The Sunday Times last year, Snoop Dogg appeared to soften his stance on Trump because he commuted the sentence of Death Row Records co-founder, Michael “Harry-O” Harris. Harris had served 33 years in prison for cocaine trafficking.
“Donald Trump? He ain’t done nothing wrong to me,” noted Snoop Dogg. “He has done only great things for me. He pardoned Michael Harris… So I have nothing but love and respect for Donald Trump.”
