Walmart worker arrested for ‘stealing $52,000’ with ‘heavy items’ trick – but he insists ‘he did not commit a crime’

A WALMART delivery driver pocketed over $52,000 in fees on orders he never delivered.

The Florida man scammed thousands of dollars from 874 orders, all of which were charged heavy item fees.

Jeremiah Boyer, 43, allegedly intentionally failed to fulfill orders through the online delivery service Spark, local CBS affiliate WPEC reported.

In cases where an order cannot be fulfilled, delivery personnel will still be entitled to the heavy item fee. This is why Boyer specifically chose to focus on orders that contained items with a heavy item fee.

Investigators discovered that Boyer allegedly used fake names and accounts to place orders with a heavy item charge and purposely not fill them.

A Walmart investigator discovered that Boyer once flagged a case of 60 water bottles as “not found” but still received the $47 charge.

Boyer has allegedly been engaged in these fraudulent activities since April 4, 2024. However, he was only apprehended on February 18, 2025, for orchestrating an organized scheme to deceive.

The Walmart delivery driver told police “he did not feel he committed a crime.”

THREATENING ACTIONS

Another Walmart employee was recently arrested for allegedly making terrorist threats against her coworkers at a store in Arizona.

A coworker of Keelin Paige Pascoe reported the 20-year-old for allegedly messaging her about her desire to kill her coworkers.

According to court records obtained from local Fox affiliate KSAZ, Pascoe has been recounting a recurring dream she has been experiencing. In this dream, she arrives at her workplace at Walmart, proceeds to shoot and kill multiple colleagues, and ultimately turns the weapon on herself.

“[Pascoe] then began describing a plan of how she could carry out the dream in real life.

“[Pascoe] would find someone who looks like her, kill her and assume the decedent’s identity, then come kill her co-workers posing as the decedent,” investigators wrote.

The employee reportedly had a list of over 40 other employees she wanted to target in her attack.

Police noted that Pascoe allegedly told her coworker she would attack on March 2, when she had the day off.

“When the complainant tried to be dismissive about [Pascoe’s] plan, [Pascoe] seemed irritated and said ‘[no one] believes me’ and also added that she was excited for the plan because ‘that’s how they’ll know me,’” police said.

When asked about the threats by investigators, Pascoe said she’s been having threatening dreams that revolved around killing her coworkers that she has problems with.

“According to [Pascoe], after the first occurrence of the dream, she wrote a list of names of people from Walmart and her other job,” the documents stated.

Spark heavy items fee policy

Customers who order a heavy item through Spark are charged an additional fee. If the order cannot be fulfilled, the customer is still responsible for paying the extra fee per Spark’s rules.

“When asked what the list was for, [Pascoe] said they were people she wanted dead.”

Walmart told The U.S. Sun that the company prioritizes the safety of all its employees.

“The safety of our associates and customers is always a top priority,” the company said in an email to The U.S. Sun.

“We’re thankful for the partnership with police and are cooperating with their investigation.”
