Speaking to PEOPLE, Savannah mentioned that although marriage has been a topic of discussion between her and Shiver, they have decided to proceed cautiously for the time being. They are not rushing into anything and are content with the pace of their relationship.

Savannah explained that Shiver has “some stuff to work through” with his estranged wife, Lindsay Shiver, who’s awaiting trial for her alleged involvement in hiring a hitman to murder him.

“I think what I love is that we’re not even really focused on that. I feel like it’s so easy to get caught up. Society loves to put a timeline on things like, ‘Oh, you’ve been together for two years. You need to get engaged; you need to get married,'” she said.

In a separate interview, Savannah opened up about her new family dynamic since her parents reported to prison and admitted she’s felt sad for her younger sister, Chloe. The tween was adopted by Todd and Julie after their oldest son, Kyle Chrisley, began struggling with personal issues.

“My heart, honestly, breaks for Chloe because Chloe has not had an easy upbringing. Her biological parents turned their backs on her from a very young age,” Savannah claimed. “When my parents got custody of her, her biological father [was] completely out the picture [and] mother [was] out of the picture. That was their choice.”

Savannah admitted that Chloe “hates” when people draw attention to their family’s dynamic before saying they’re only “hurting” her more by doing so.

Savannah has also been open about the pressure she’s felt raising two children alone. Admittedly, the “Growing Up Chrisley” star has “struggled” to make things happen.

I look the part; I play the part. But it doesn’t mean I actually am the part. You fake it till you make it. That’s the world that we live in.”

While taking on new work and supporting her younger siblings, Savannah has also had to deal with her older brother, Chase Chrisley, and his shocking arrest.

The 28-year-old was arrested and charged with “simple assault” in Atlanta, Georgia after a bar employee claimed the reality star slapped him several times.

Chase was released after posting a $10,000 bond and immediately denied the allegations. In February 2025, he said the situation was “blown out of proportion,” mainly due to his celebrity status.

“I didn’t slap that dude in Atlanta,” he said. “That didn’t happen. If I was [going to] put my hand on somebody, I would get my money’s worth. I wouldn’t just get a slap.”
