Catholic Charities in Cleveland to deliver 12,000 free Easter meals to Northeast Ohio residents in need

Catholic Charities will distribute 12,000 free Easter meals to those facing food insecurity in Northeast Ohio on April 20.

In preparation for Easter, Catholic Charities and the Diocese of Cleveland have made arrangements to provide 12,000 Easter meals to individuals in Northeast Ohio who are experiencing food insecurity. The distribution aims to support community members who are struggling to access an adequate food supply.

The annual Easter meals campaign will provide food to individuals and families on Sunday, April 20, through an on-site service and home delivery.

Eric Milkie, the director of emergency assistance services, emphasized the impact of hunger on individuals’ lives and dignity. With the increasing costs of goods and services, those already facing food insecurity will encounter even greater challenges in securing their next meal. By offering these holiday meals, Catholic Charities aims to address the unmet needs of the Cleveland community, alleviate hunger, and foster a compassionate and optimistic environment.
