Carol Marin is an American television and print journalist. She is widely known for her time at WMAQ-TV in Chicago, Illinois, as a political editor and columnist. Marin worked as the political columnist for the Chicago Sun-Times from 2004 to 2020. She signed as a contributor to Chicago Tonight on WTTW, a public broadcasting station in Chicago in 2006. She also moderates panels on politics often.

Marin formed Marin Corp Productions in 2002, which produced programs for CNN and The New York Times/Discovery Channel. Carol worked for CBS as a network correspondent and an investigative reporter. She reported for the CBS News programs 60 Minutes, 60 Minutes II, and Evening News with Dan Rather.
