The body of a 45-year-old woman, Bernadette Connolly who was last seen on 7th January was found in Lancashire.
Bernadette Connolly who hails from County Dublin had been missing for a month. She was last seen when a taxi driver dropped her at the car parking area of a hotel named Shoreline situated in Donabate. She was walking towards the beach on 7th January and was last seen on CCTV as stated by the reports. The body of Bernadette Connolly went missing in Ireland which was recovered a month later on the coastline of Lancashire.
Bernadette’s family has made several appeals in public to help them find her. The Irish police unveiled on Thursday that the body was found in Blackpool.
Bernadette Connolly is a mother to a daughter named Jade who was the one to confirm the tragic yet mysterious news of her mother’s death and body to be recovered from a beach in Blackpool which is estimated to be around 200 miles away from her home.
Her daughter had been sharing all the updates and information since her mother went missing with her followers through Instagram. the last post of her was very disheartening as she wrote about her mother’s death and her followers took to the comment section to console as well as pray for her family. The post was a note written by her daughter which was captioned with a heart emoticon. She asked the followers and netizens to give her and her family private space to come over the grief and titled her mother as a strong woman who had a generous smile on her face. The last of the daughter read, “I write this message with a heavy heart.
My family and I have received the tragic news that a woman's body was recovered from a beach in Blackpool UK and it is confirmed to be my beloved mam, Bernadette Connolly. We will always remember her smile, strong character, and love. Mam and I have had 30 years together, for that I am grateful, and our memories will live forever.”
She further added, “This experience has been incredibly difficult for us and we couldn't have done it alone. From day one my family and I received so much unconditional and tireless support across the nation and worldwide, for which we can't express enough gratitude. As her daughter, I truly know I did all I could in my power to find her. We prayed for people to light a path to bring her home and we're so grateful to have her back and can now lay her to rest.
This is a tragedy that no family should ever have to bare, we please ask that you respect our privacy during this time of grieving.”
