Who is Niko Omilana?
British social media personality and YouTuber Niko Omilana, was born under the zodiac sign Pisces on 4 March 1998, in Staffordshire, England. He attracted a lot of attention with his candidacy for the Mayor of London, while he’s today perhaps known best for his self-titled YouTube channel, which he launched back on 2 June 2011, and which is today subscribed to by more than seven million people. Niko’s uploaded 142 videos, and all of these combined have been watched nearly 600 million times, with most showing him pranking various people, opening fake stores (Apple and McDonalds) and sneaking into various events.
Education and early life
Niko was raised in Staffordshire by his Nigerian parents; not many details have been shared about them because Niko respects their privacy, but it’s known that they moved to England from Nigeria not long before Niko was born. He’s yet to speak about having siblings, and is thus believed to have none.
Niko studied at King Edward VII School in Stafford, and was into several activities during his time there, as he enjoyed playing basketball with his peers, played soccer, and enjoyed appearing in school plays; he was also interested in social media networks, and spent most of his spare time playing video games.
Niko matriculated in 2016, and continued his education at Stafford College, wanting to study the Media Program course; he completed his three-year Business and Technology Education Council in 2019, and although Niko’s initial plan was to go after a Master’s degree, he instead chose to focus on his career on the internet.

Niko’s mostly popular on YouTube for his sense of humor, as he enjoys pranking random people in the street, sneaking into various sports events, especially boxing matches, and taking on some of the internet’s most popular challenges. His #1 video “I Pranked America’s Most Racist Man” has been watched more than 40 million times since 13 May 2022, and features Niko interviewing ‘America’s most racist man’, who seems to be connected to the Ku Klux Klan (KKK) and lives in the city where the KKK’s headquarters were once located.

Niko’s second most popular video “I Opened A FAKE McDonalds” has been viewed over 24 million times since 4 September 2020, and features him opening his own fake McDonalds restaurant after he tried to become their employee but they wouldn’t hire him.
His #3 video “I Opened A FAKE Apple Store” has been watched over 23 million times since 26 November 2021, and features him opening the ‘Not Apple’ store next to an actual Apple Store; Niko’s then giving away various electrical devices for free, including hundreds of mobile phones.
Niko’s today active on various social media networks, and together with his YouTube channel, these represent his main source of income.
He’s quite popular on Instagram as over 2.6 million people are following him on the network, while he’s uploaded 82 pictures and videos; most of Niko’s Instagram videos are the same which can be found uploaded onto his YouTube channel, although he also occasionally uploads unique content.
Niko’s amassed over a million followers on Twitter since he launched his channel in May 2010; he’s since posted nearly 26,000 times – and most of his tweets are about his career on the internet.
Niko’s also active on Facebook, and over 100,000 people are following him on this social media network, which he tends to update at least once a day; his most recent video features him sneaking a painting next to Mona Lisa in The Louvre in Paris, France.
Niko’s only recently become active on TikTok, but has still managed to amass nearly two million followers; all his videos combined number more than 11 million likes, and nearly all are comedy content, featuring him pranking random people in the street, taking on internet challenges, and lip syncing to some of his favorite songs.

Love life and relationships
Niko doesn’t speak about his love life on the internet, and this has led his fans to start rumors about his sexual orientation and past and present affairs.
Some of his fans believe that he was once in a relationship with non-celebrity British girl Sophie; the rumors started circulating the internet after he uploaded a video onto YouTube, which featured him pranking the girl Sophie and her father, by telling the man that he’s found out that Sophie has cheated on him. Niko hasn’t addressed the matter, nor has any evidence been provided to show that he and Sophie have indeed dated.
There are also those who claim that Niko’s gay, but this hasn’t been confirmed either.
He seems to be unattached as of November 2023, hasn’t married and doesn’t have children.

Niko’s physically quite active; he often works out at the gym, and also enjoys playing soccer, basketball and tennis with his friends.
