Ana Tena
Actress, influencer, model, TV host… it seems that there’s nothing that Ana Tena can’t do. Born on 19th March 2004, in Mexico, the young starlet has been making a name for herself in the entertainment industry, thanks to her stellar performances in a number of dramas and telenovelas.
After commencing her studies at the Centro de Educación Artística Infantil de Televisa at just eight years old, the blonde worked hard to perfect her craft until her first credited acting role, which was in 2014. Since then, she’s proven herself to be an unstoppable force on the Mexican showbiz scene, with dozens of accomplishments to her name.

Career
Ana’s acting debut came in 2014 as she guest-starred in an episode of the religious anthology series “La Rosa de Guadalupe” – over the years, she would guest-star in three more episodes, as different characters.
In 2016, the actress played a young Mariana Garjola in an episode of “El Vato”, followed by a minor role in “Yago”. Her first recurring role was playing a young Aurora in two episodes of the feel-good romcom “Mi adorable maldición”, and she then ventured into voice acting for the 2018 videogame “Shadow of the Tomb Raider”.
After a minor recurring role in the telenovela “Corazón Contento”, Ana was cast as Alexa Paz in the romantic drama “Soltero con Hijas”, which saw actor Gabriel Soto play a womanizing bachelor whose life is turned upside down when he must take in his three orphaned nieces. The role lasted two years, and in that time Ana also appeared in the anthology series “Como dice el dicho”, and had a minor recurring role as Luz María in “Esta historia me suena”.
In 2022, Ana depicted Alejandra Fernández in “El Último Rey”, and a young Olivia Serrano in “High Heat”. She was also cast as Lucia Lombardo in the popular series “La Madrastra”, and began filming for an important leading role in “El amor invencible”, which premiered in early 2023, and has so far received overwhelmingly positive reviews.
However, many fans of Ana are unaware of the fact that she’s also done numerous voice projects throughout the years, even before she began professionally acting. “Barbie Puppy Adventure”, “Buscando a Dory”, and “Nicky, Ricky, Dicky, & Dawn” are just some of the movies and series the actress has lent her talents to, albeit off-screen. She also voiced Dolly Parton’s sister in a German TV movie about the singer’s life.
As for Ana’s career as an influencer, she has to date worked with over a dozen big brands, and even been an ambassador for Benetton and Benefit. Although her first promotional gigs were on a national level, such as ad campaigns for Walmart and Reebok in Mexico, she’s since collaborated with L’Oreal, Kenzo, and Pandora, which has helped her expand her fanbase to the US and Europe. The social media sensation also uploads frequent unboxing videos so her fans can see what books she’s reading, or lifestyle products she’s using.
Personal Life
Although Ana is very much single right now, back in March 2023 she was linked to Matías Gruener, who is mainly known for being the adopted son of Mexican actress and singer Susana Zabaleta. According to online sources, Matías and Ana were first in a “relationship” back in 2019, when Matías was just thirteen years old and Ana fifteen.
This time round, Ana and Matías were spotted together at the Jaripeos Sin Fronteras musical event, and willingly explained their dating history to reporters at the scene. ‘Now, after four years, we’re dating again and here we are,’ Matías said. When asked if he believed in second chances, he replied: ‘It depends on the situation, your age, our relationship didn’t work out four years ago because we were kids.’ [Translated from Spanish]
Although Ana appeared exuberant at the event, fans of both parties doubted that the relationship would work out due to Matías still being a teenager. Unfortunately, they were proven right, as just two months after making their public debut, it was confirmed that the actress and the second-generation celebrity had broken up. At the end of July 2023, Matías officially introduced his current girlfriend, sharing that they first met back in 2020, and had been dating since late April. Meanwhile, Ana maintained a dignified silence.
Known for her slim physique, Ana is 5ft 2ins (157cms) tall and weighs just 105lbs (47kgs).
Isabella Tena
Ana’s latest project, “El amor invencible”, is made even more special by the fact that she appears alongside her sister, actress Isabella Tena. Born in January 2007, Isabella began acting at six years old, after landing a minor role in an episode of “La rosa de Guadalupe” – which coincidentally was also Ana’s first gig.
From then on, Isabella played Luz Lascurain in the 2014 telenovela “Mi corazón es tuyo”, and Selena Alegría in “Sueño de amor”. Like Ana, she also had a small role in an episode of “Como dice el dicho”, and would later play Frida in “Mi marido tiene familia”, a role which lasted two years and over 220 episodes.
In “El amor invencible”, Isabella portrays Ana Julia Peralta, acting legend Angelique Boyer’s on-screen daughter. The young actress and Ana clearly share a close relationship, as they frequently feature on each other’s social media profiles, and support each other at important industry events. Despite Isabella being more popular on Instagram with over two million followers, there’s no sibling rivalry between the “Frida” star and her older sister.
Like Ana, Isabella is also a brand ambassador for many beauty and clothing companies, such as Stradivarius, Rabanne, and H&M. Over the last few months, she’s recently made the headlines of small Mexican gossip blogs for her supposed romance with co-star Lukas Urkijo, a Colombian actor and influencer born in February 2008.
Isabella is currently filming for the upcoming romance series “El amor no tiene receta”, which has a provisional early 2024 release date. Not much has been revealed about the project for the time being, but nevertheless, Isabella’s millions of fans are eagerly awaiting the first episodes.
