Jeannie Mai and Jeezy are reportedly calling it quits on their marriage. On Sept. 15, People shared that Jeezy (real name Jay Jenkins) filed for divorce from Mai after two and a half years of marriage. Per court documents obtained by the outlet, Jeezy’s filing indicates that the pair are “currently living in a bona fide state of separation” and that their marriage is “irretrievably broken” with “no hope for reconciliation.” The Atlanta Journal-Constitution was the first to break the news. Reps for the former couple did not immediately respond to POPSUGAR’s requests for comment.

Jeezy and Mai began quietly dating in November 2018 and got engaged almost two years later. In April 2021, the couple tied the knot in an intimate backyard wedding in Atlanta, where they were surrounded by close family and friends, per People. Less than a year later, in January 2022, the two announced the birth of their only child, a daughter named Monaco, on Instagram. Mai captioned a post, “I asked God for a life of love and happiness. He sent me my family. Baby Jenkins is here 🍼❤️.”
