The 2023 US Open — the last tennis Grand Slam of the year — wrapped up on Sept. 10, but not without some major tennis action. American player Coco Gauff — at just 19 years old — took home the championship on the women’s side, while Novak Djokovic won on the men’s. The crowds were also treated to great tennis from Americans like Frances Tiafoe, Ben Shelton, Taylor Fritz, and Madison Keys. And during the two weeks of the tournnament, the Billie Jean King Tennis Center in Flushing, Queens, transformed into a celebrity hot spot, becoming the date-night destination for couples like Justin and Hailey Bieber; Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet; Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban; and many, many more.

And it’s not just fans who like seeing the celebs — it’s the players, too. Gauff joked after her third-round match (and victory) that seeing Justin and Hailey cheering for her inspired her win. “I definitely saw who was there,” Gauff said on ESPN’s broadcast after the match, per CNN. “I thought, ‘I cannot lose in front of Justin Bieber.’ I didn’t lose a game after I saw that.”

Ahead, check out all the biggest celebrities we spotted at the US Open in 2023.
