Aguilera started dating Rutler shortly after she filed for divorce from Bratman. The two met on the set of her hit movie “Burlesque,” where Rutler was a production assistant. The couple got engaged on Valentine’s Day 2014 and welcomed their daughter, Summer Rain, in August of that year. They’re still going strong to this day.
Aguilera occasionally shares sweet glimpses of their relationship. In July, she posted a video on Instagram of her, Rutler, and their daughter enjoying the Museum of Ice Cream together. Back in April, she shared an affectionate birthday video in honor of Rutler. “Happy birthday babe, love doing life with you 🤍,” she wrote on Instagram.
More recently, Rutler showed up to support Aguilera during her “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” appearance on Oct. 16. On the show, Aguilera also opened up a bit about their relationship, revealing that she and Rutler enjoy playing tricks on each other now and then. “It’s funny, me and my fiancé, we literally go out of our way to prank each other every year,” she revealed, adding that she once put a life-sized Michael Myers mannequin in her closet. “I set that one up bad that year because he actually — I didn’t scare him quite enough,” she said. “So I have a very special one to surprise him the next time.”
