Kim Kardashian Claims She’s “Never Had a Beer,” but the Evidence Suggests Otherwise

Ahead of Kim and Kourtney Kardashian’s heated feud during the season four premiere of “The Kardashians,” Khloé and Kim make a shocking claim: they’ve “never had a beer” before. As the sisters touch down in Cabo for a family trip, Kendall Jenner casually hands Khloé a refreshing Corona, when the older sister admits she’s yet to have a regular beer. Kim echoes Khloé and steals a sip from the bottle. “Oh! It’s kinda sweet,” she says, fascinated by the taste of beer, otherwise known as the most-consumed alcoholic beverage on earth.

“Beer is the best thing ever.”

Khloé later explains that actually, she has had beer, but only in Jamaica, insisting she’s “never had a Corona or I guess an American beer.” (Corona is brewed in Mexico.) Meanwhile, Kim stands by her declaration as Kendall remarks “that’s crazy” and Kylie Jenner adds, “Beer is the best thing ever.” The silly scene left longtime viewers of the family confused — we could have sworn we’ve seen Kim drinking beer before. Upon further investigation, there are indeed various examples that disprove Kim’s adamant claim. In retrospect, Kylie and Kendall were probably surprised because like us, they have seen her consume the beverage in the past.

For instance, OG “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” fans might remember Kim’s 30th birthday celebration. Mom Kris Jenner does a keg stand, and the family forces Kim to follow suit. And as many of you know, a keg stand certainly requires the consumption of beer. More recently, just a mere seven months ago, she went on a pub crawl with her friends on St. Patrick’s Day. In photos documenting the journey, Kim is seen clutching both a pint and shot of Guinness. There’s also various pictures over the years of the mogul holding glasses of beer, though in her defense, she wasn’t pictured drinking any of them.

The mom of four has admittedly never been a big drinker, and previously spoke about starting to drink at age 42. While chatting with Gwyneth Paltrow on the “Goop” podcast in 2022, Kim said her drink of choice is now “a little shot of pineapple and a shot of tequila.” “I have two shots and I’m like so good. It’s been fun,” she said at the time.

I’m convinced Kim isn’t an avid beer drinker, and I even believe she’s new to Corona. But there’s enough evidence here to call bullsh*t on her claim that she’s never tasted the drink — that Cabo trip definitely wasn’t the first time she’s tried the alcoholic beverage.

Later in the episode, Kendall calls Kim a “goddamn liar” amid an intense guacamole-making competition, and well, we may have to agree with her. Sorry, Kim, the evidence doesn’t lie!
