Born on Nov. 29, 1998, Reginae Carter is the rapper’s eldest, whom he shares with ex-wife and high school sweetheart Antonia “Toya” Johnson. Fans may recognize her from her stint on “Growing Up Hip Hop: Atlanta,” the series “Social Society,” or A&E’s “Pride & Prejudice: Atlanta.” She also cowrote the book “Paparazzi Princesses,” published in 2013.
Speaking with Essence in 2020, Reginae shared her goal is to “become one of the biggest actresses in the world.” During the COVID-19 pandemic, Reginae began sharing her auditions on TikTok as a way to get instant feedback and hone her craft. “I have my moments when I’m like okay, ‘I need to get out of this house!’ But I felt like TikTok was a fun way to critique my craft and also make everybody laugh, entertain people,” she said.
Since then, she’s gone on to launch her own fitness fashion line, which her dad proudly celebrated on Instagram. She also appeared in Peacock’s “Boxed In” in November 2022, and her dad also posted about the show, writing, “Kongrats @itsreginaecarter no words can deskribe how proud of you I am! 🤙🏾 #LikeFatherLikeDaughter”.
