Piers Morgan Labels Kanye West’ A Big Baby’

In a recent interview for his YouTube series “Uncensored,” Morgan sat down with West, but the conversation quickly went off the rails.
Just minutes in, West stormed out, leaving the host to describe him as acting “like a big baby.”
After their meeting ended abruptly, Morgan shared a candid photo on X along with the message: “Today, I sat down with Kanye West for another interview. As I predicted, based on my recent comments about him, it was short-lived and quite tense. Here he is just moments before storming off like a petulant child.”
Reported by the Daily Mail, the tension arose right from the start of the interview when Morgan introduced the artist simply as “West.”
West pushed back, saying, “I don’t use the term West—you know, the whole ‘drop the slave name’ idea?”

Morgan quickly corrected himself, asking: “Ok, so we just call you Ye, yeah?” to which the rapper replied, “Yes, sir.”
However, things only went downhill from there due to Morgan’s question about West’s online activities and public image.

Kanye West Clashes With Piers Morgan Over Public Image: ‘I’m In Contrast To Your Contrast’
So, I interviewed Kanye West again today. As I expected, given what I’ve said about him recently, it didn’t last long or go well. This was him right before he stomped off like a big baby. Drops on @PiersUncensored later… pic.twitter.com/m8TDGDpwgs

During the interview, Morgan asked West how life had been treating him lately. Instead of answering directly, the “Runaway” rapper gestured to his surroundings, saying, “You see that view?… Judge it on the view on the answer how my life is, judge me by the view.”
Morgan replied, “The view is Majorca, I’ve been there. It’s a beautiful place, and for all intents and purposes, you seem very relaxed and happy.”
He added: “That is in direct contrast to your public image at the moment, over the last couple of years, led by your ferocious… [West begins to interrupt] Well, hang on. Let me finish the question…”

However, West cut in, disagreeing: “But I already disagree, it’s not in contrast, there’s so many people and artists that are championing the idea of someone being able to just express who they really are, and have been able to go through the war of being attacked by the banks, being attacked, you know, by the banks – that’s the best way to put it!”
He continued: “Being attacked by the banks, and to still be here with this view is, you know, that’s the win. So I think that’s, I’m in contrast to your contrast.”

Kanye West Explodes Over Piers Morgan’s Comment About His X Follower Count, Accuses Media Of ‘Hate’

As Morgan tried to steer the conversation, he brought up West’s influence on social media: “You’ve got 32 million followers on X—so you’re one of the most followed people…”
But the “Donda” rapper quickly cut in with a sharp response: “Now, look, right now you’re not going to take inches off my d-ck, bro. Like, how many followers do I have?”
When Morgan asked for the accurate number, West suggested his team should’ve already checked. Morgan clarified, “I’m told it’s 33 million now. So congratulations, [you have a] slightly bigger following than I thought…”
Clearly agitated, the mood soured as West pivoted to defend his legacy. Drawing comparisons to music icons, he accused the journalist of trying to belittle him.
He declared, “I’m a gift, bro. I mean, why do all you people in media act like you haven’t played my songs at your weddings or graduations or at funerals, and when your child was born, you know, you take somebody that’s living like a [John] Lennon, a Michael Jackson, and you just take all this time too, like that nuance right there, it’s idiotic.”
He added: “It just shows the hate that you put out for people that put love. There’s so much love in the art I put out.”
A confused Morgan replied, “What are you talking about? I haven’t said anything?”
West wrapped up with a pointed remark: “Now you are not taking accountability or responsibility… No, sir, this is what you get for now. We can circle back when you can count.”

With that, he removed his mic and walked off set, abruptly ending the interview just over two minutes in.
Fans Slam Piers Morgan Interview Over His Questions For Kanye West

In the comments, reactions were mixed. Some supported West’s decision to walk off, with one user stating, “Why should he sit there and be insulted by you because you don’t agree with his take on things? Who do you think you are?”
Another commenter slammed the host: “You are an absolute fool for trying to talk down on this man. He could never have the balls to say the things he has said, take the backlash he has taken, nor the hate. You yourself are an entitled TV w-nka trying to be a puppet for the master of puppets.”
A third chimed in, “Sorry to say, Piers, but even Ye has more integrity than you.”

Netizens Called Out The Rapper For His Behavior

While Piers received a lot of heat for the disastrous interview, not everyone was in West’s corner.
One person commented, “Savage reality check: a ‘genius’ brand flat-lines the moment it lacks stamina for hard questions. It locks the narrative, Ye can’t defend Ye.”
“Kanye West is an infant and seemingly a psychopath,” another added.
A third user said: “Kanye is such a waste of talent. He needs to just move somewhere with no internet and live by himself. No one wants to see or hear from him anymore.”
