The movie following the 1999 classic sees Addison Rae as Padgett, who goes viral after an unfortunate incident with her boyfriend. In response to the circumstance, her friend bets she can’t turn one of the high school’s ‘disasters’ into an internet star in his own light. That person is Tanner Buchanan’s Cameron, who is a beanie-wearing outcast who lives off the grid and hides behind his film camera.
