About Alex Hawke
Alex Hawke was born on 9 July 1977 in Australia.
For his education, he attended Hills Grammer School, later he joined Cumberland High School.
Hawke studied his higher education at the University of Sydney. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts and a Masters in Government and Public Affairs.
While he was at the university, he joined the Australian Army Reserve and served for six years. Later commissioned into the Royal Australian Armoured Corps and serving as a lieutenant with the 1st/15th Royal South Wales Lancers.
Alex was elected as the Federal Member for Mitchell in 2007.
Alex was appointed as the Assistant Minister to the Treasurer in September of 2015. Following this, he was appointed as the Assistant Minister for Immigration and Border Protection in 2016.
In late 2017 Alex was appointed Assistant Minister for Home Affairs. He was officially sworn in as the Special Minister of State on 2018.

Alex Hawke was married to his beautiful wife Rebecca Davis. Rebecca works as an environmental lawyer.
They met each other in 2003 and got married in 2010. However, due to internal complications decided to split up in 2013.
Following their breakup, Alex married Amelia McManus in late 2013. Amelia is a policy advisor for Micheal Keenan.
They are happy living together and have a healthy relationship with four children.
Furthermore, Hawke’s mother died when he was just 10 years old. He was raised only by his father.
Hawke does have some Greek background too. His maternal grandparents actually migrated from Greece in 1953 as part of the post-World War II migration to Australia from Europe.
However, he did face some trouble when questions were raised over his eligibility for Greek citizenship through his mother. But this matter was resolved easily later.
