Jennifer Lopez has a touching moment after officially becoming single following her divorce from Ben Affleck

Jennifer Lopez had an emotional moment on stage just hours after being declared legally single again.

During her concert in Abu Dhabi, the 55-year-old singer paused to express her gratitude to the audience for their enthusiastic applause, showing visible emotion.

Placing a hand on her chest, Jennifer Lopez fought back tears before addressing the crowd.

“Now you got me feeling myself,” she said, dressed in a shimmering brown jumpsuit, in a video shared on Instagram Friday.

Soon after reports from TMZ confirmed that Lopez and Ben Affleck were legally declared single post their divorce settlement on January 6, the emotional moment took place.

Lopez filed for divorce from the “Air” actor on August 20, 2024, coinciding with what would have been their second wedding anniversary. Despite rekindling their romance in 2021, almost two decades after calling off their first engagement, the couple got married in 2022 and separated two years later.

According to reports, both Lopez and Affleck left the marriage with the assets they individually acquired during their relationship.

However, questions still remain regarding their $60 million Beverly Hills mansion, which has been sitting on the market for months.

In addition, Lopez is reportedly planning to drop Affleck from her last name now that their divorce has been finalized.

The 51-year-old actor first dated Lopez in 2002, with the couple breaking up just two years later after a failed engagement. Two decades later, they rekindled their romance and tied the knot in July 2022, only for Lopez to file for divorce last year. Their split, which was finalized with the help of a mediator, marked the definitive end of their tumultuous love story.

According to Daily Mail, the breakup left Affleck feeling “exhausted,” but after taking time to heal, he is now open to dating again—while staying focused on his sobriety.

“This weight is lifted from him, and he is ready to move on and date again—if the right woman comes along,” a source told the outlet. “He is taking a minute because this has taken a toll on him. He is staying close to his family and his sobriety circle.”

The insider added that while Affleck isn’t feeling “fragile,” the experience of his failed marriage to Lopez has left him drained.

Since the split, both stars have been prioritizing their careers. Affleck has been busy with the sequel to “The Accountant,” where he reprises his role as a forensic accountant with extraordinary abilities. The action-packed film is set for release in April 2025 and is produced by Artists Equity, the production company he co-founded with longtime friend Matt Damon.

Lopez, meanwhile, has been performing in the UAE for Saadiyat Nights in Abu Dhabi and recently starred in Unstoppable, which Affleck and Damon also produced. Her latest film, “Kiss of the Spider Woman,” premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in January.

As for Lopez’s love life, sources claim she is in no rush to re-enter the dating scene following her split from Affleck.

“Jen, like most people, would love to have love in her life again,” an insider shared with Daily Mail. “But the one person she has to give time to right now is herself. If something presents itself, then obviously life and love will find a way, but she isn’t looking to get into any new relationships.”

The source added that the “On The Floor” singer is focused on her work and personal growth, hoping 2025 will be a year of self-reinvention.

“She isn’t actively looking to date right now and is still processing losing Ben again,” they continued. “She likes being in a relationship almost immediately after one ends, but right now, she is trying something new and seeing if that works out for her better.”
