Joe Rogan breaks down why there'll never be a rival for him on the 'lying' left

Joe Rogan has defiantly declared there will never be a figure like him ‘on the left’ due to Democrats’ disingenuousness.

The top-rated podcaster made the proclamation Thursday, during a discussion about the role he played in last year’s election.

He had a conversation with internet expert Adam Curry, a former MTV video jockey recognized as one of the first celebrities to establish a presence in podcasts.

During his discussion with the ‘Podfather,’ Rogan shared his perspective on what he thought was missing from the progressive side last year. This occurred after Curry suggested that what progressives lacked was their own version of a comedian.

Only three days after criticizing Democrats for their reaction following Donald Trump’s election victory, Rogan expressed that the left-leaning party did not welcome him.

‘That was the thing. That was the psy-op working against them,’ he explained, before eventually claiming Kamala Harris’s team was too ‘scared’ to appear on his show and lied after the fact.

‘Because in the past they could take someone like me and demonize them and it would be effective,’ he went on, pointing to progressives’ penchant for cancel culture and other ethically questionable practices.

‘They could just remove you from the airwaves…[if] you were not playing by the rules. Now, people say I’m telling the truth.’ Asked whether the left was trying to mimic his success, Rogan simply said: ‘It’s not going to work unless that person’s authentic.’

Following the full-throated diagnosis, Rogan accused influencers and members of the media of flat-pout pedaling propaganda, saying, ‘I’m wrong all the time, you might not agree with me – that’s all great – but I’m never going to lie.

‘That’s the difference,’ he said on the subject. ‘A lot of these people are just propagandists.’

The longtime UFC commentator then lamented how members of the more progressive party aren’t willing to ‘look at the other side’ for a fresh perspective like he is.

‘Instantaneously, now I know you’re propagandizing,’ he said of echo chambers seen on shows like The Young Turks and Pod Save America.

‘Now I know you’re bull-sh*tting me.

‘They try to make arguments without looking at the other side,’ he added, after last month describing himself as an ‘American’ when asked which party he belonged to.

‘I always try to look at the other side. It’s an important quality for a person broadcasting to millions of people and also for a human being.’

The result of such behavior, Rogan said, is that CNN  – fresh off one of its worst ratings months ever and a round of layoffs – ‘crashes,’ as does ‘faith in mainstream media.’

Later on, the self-professed libertarian spoke on still-swirling allegations that he had been to blame for the Harris interview falling apart, after the then-candidate’s campaign argued that Rogan’s team made several difficult demands in the buildup.

This included a refusal to meet on October 25 due to it being Rogan’s ‘personal day,’ before alleging they then found out Rogan had fibbed and sat down with Trump instead on the same day, paving the way for the podcaster’s third-most-viewed episode ever.

Rogan, however, put those claims to bed, claiming the Harris team was simply lying to ‘cover their a**.’

“It’s just normal political bullsh*t,’ he said again. ‘They just lie. They cover their a**, and they lie.

‘I would have been very happy to have her on’, he said of Harris, who opted a more safe – and rehearsed – interview with CBS, that led to a yet-to-be settled lawsuit from Trump that alleges bias.

‘And, like I said, the goal was to release both [interviews with the candidates] the same day,’ Rogan reiterated.

‘We have all the receipts, by the way,’ Rogan already said last week. ‘I have a whole list of conversations that took place.

‘They never said she was going to do it. This whole idea that we f*cked her over and we f*cked her over for Trump – incorrect, just not true.’

On Thursday, Curry – looking to incite a reaction out of his friend – joked, ‘You probably would have voted for her,’ referring to Harris.

‘No, I wouldn’t have done that,’ Rogan replied with a laugh. ‘I wasn’t going to vote for her.’
