Per Page Six, her ex Kanye West reportedly helped Kardashian prepare for her SNL hosting duties, with a source saying: “Kim is nervous about hosting ‘SNL,’ it’s a big challenge but she is determined to be a success”.“Kanye is quietly advising her on her performance, her opening monologue, even her costumes for the show.”Kardashian, 40, has been spoted around Manhattan wearing several outfits from Balenciaga, including a glittering silver jacket with a $US25,000-plus price-tag. Balenciaga, of course, was the same luxury fashion house behind Kardashian’s all-black Met Gala outfit. The New York Post reports that Kardashian consulted comedians Ellen DeGeneres, 63, and Amy Schumer, 40, to help with her SNL debut. Production sources at NBC said the comedians had been giving Kardashian “tips on what to include in her monologue, how to perform certain skits and nail comedic delivery”.Kardashian had been posting from the Saturday Night Live set in the days leading up to the broadcast, joking that hosting the iconic program would be “so easy” in an ad for the episode alongside musical guest, Halsey. Posting from the SNL set, Kardashian wrote on Instagram: “And that’s a wrap! 5.30am – 3.16am.”“I’m so impressed the SNL cast & crew do this weely! Much respect @nbcsnl”.The former reality TV star’s mother Kris Jenner, 65, and sister, Khloe Kardashian, 37, flew to New York to support the billionaire SKIMS and KKW Beauty founder. West’s public support of his ex again fuelled reconciliation rumours, with E! News suggesting Kardashian was “open” to reconciling. “Kim is not rushing the divorce,” the sourcesaid. “She and Kanye are in a good place right now, and she is not on a rushed timeline to push the divorce forward.”“Kanye has expressed that he wants her back, and Kim is open to it, but wants to focus first on rebuilding their foundation and friendship back stronger.”
