Amazon’s Prime Video is cutting three original series from its roster.

The streamer has canceled two first-year dramas, Harlan Coben’s Shelter and The Horror of Dolores Roach, and comedy series With Love, which ran for two seasons. All three were produced at least in part by the tech giant’s in-house Amazon Studios (now Amazon MGM Studios).

Shelter, based on a 2011 young adult novel by Coben, centers on a teenager (Jaden Michael) who moves to a new town after his father’s death and quickly becomes embroiled in the disappearance of a classmate. The series also stars Constance Zimmer, Adrian Greensmith, Abby Corrigan, Sage Linder and Brian Altemus. Coben and Allen MacDonald served as showrunners and executive produced with Edward Ornelas, Erik Barmack and director Patricia Cardoso.

Gloria Calderón Kellett was an exec producer of both The Horror of Dolores Roach and With Love. The former, based on the podcast of the same name (which in turn was based a play, Empanada Loca) from creator Aaron Mark, follows a woman (Justina Machado) who’s released after serving an unjust prison sentence and takes extreme measures to survive in her newly gentrified New York neighborhood.

The series comes from Blumhouse Television, Calderón Kellett’s GloNation Studios, Amazon Studios, Gimlet Pictures and Spotify Studios. Mark and Dara Resnik were co-showrunners and exec produced with Daphne Rubin-Vega; Blumhouse’s Jason Blum, Chris McCumber, Jeremy Gold and Chris Dickie; Spotify’s Dawn Ostroff, Mimi O’Donnell and Justin McGoldrick; Calderón Kellett; and pilot director Roxann Dawson.

With Love, created and executive produced by Calderón Kellett, is a romantic comedy centered on siblings (Emeraude Toubia and Mark Indelicato) and their family as they go through the ups and downs of life and love; each episode took place around a different holiday. Season one premiered in December 2021, while the second (and now final) season debuted in June.

The cancellations make Prime Video less diverse, as all three featured people of color in lead roles. They also come as a number of networks and streamers have trimmed their rosters following the end of two industry labor strikes.
