Natalie Lehmann is expanding her oversight at New Regency Pictures, with the studio promoting the executive to president of motion pictures and television.

Lehmann has been with New Regency since 2017, producing features such as the horror hit Barbarian and Gareth Edwards’ sci-fi drama The Creator. Her most recent title was senior vice president.

In her new role, she will continue oversight of Blitz, Steve McQueen’s World War II film for Apple. She also has Man on Fire, a Netflix series adapation of the 2004 Tony Scott/Denzel Washington feature.

“Over the last seven years with New Regency, Natalie has proven time and time again she is one of the best in the business,” said New Regency chairman and CEO Yariv Milchan. “With strength in both creative and strategic thinking she’s been able to consistently produce both marquee projects and surprise breakout hits. With Natalie’s expanded role New Regency will continue its track record of producing top-quality films and series.”

Lehmann continues to report to Milchan. The executive previously held r at 21 Laps Entertainment and Broadway Video, and began her career at UTA.

As for New Regency, its upcoming projects include Amazon’s Mr. and Mrs. Smith and the A24 documentary Occupied City, from McQueen.

“It’s an honor to build on the creative and commercial work we have produced at New Regency,” Lehmann said. “I’m so proud to look back on all we’ve been able to accomplish since I first joined in early 2017, and I look forward to continuing to work with Yariv and the rest of the excellent New Regency team, as well as our many creative and business partners, to keep making best in class films and television series.”
