Travis Kelce to Star in FX Series Grotesquerie

Travis Kelce continues his push into Hollywood, scoring a role in Ryan Murphy‘s FX horror series Grotesquerie.

Grotesquerie star Niecy Nash-Betts confirmed Kelce’s involvement in the show in an Instagram video posted on Tuesday. Although details on the show are scant, Nash-Betts along with Courtney B. Vance and Lesley Manville are among the announced castmembers.

No details have been revealed on what role Kelce will be playing. In February, Murphy dropped a teaser for a new series titled Grotesquerie in an Instagram post. The cryptic teaser features Nash-Betts’ voice, sounding very disturbed about a crime scene.

Kansas City Chiefs star Kelce, who is having something of a pop culture moment due to his relationship with Taylor Swift and his team winning the most recent Super Bowl, has been increasingly upping his off field entertainment work and even dabbling in the dramatic arts. Aside from his popular podcast New Heights with Jason & Travis Kelce, Kelce debuted as host of Saturday Night Live in March 2023 and appeared in sketches alongside his brother Jason. He also made a cameo appearance on SNL in an October 2023 episode.

In April, Kelce was confirmed as the host of Are You Smarter than a 5th Grader?, a revival of the game show that will stream on Amazon Prime Video.

Additionally, Kelce is producing a documentary titled King Pleasure about artist Jean-Michel Basquiat. He recently also launched his own music festival called Kelce Jam, which took place on April 28 in Kansas City and featured Machine Gun Kelly and Rock Ross.
