Emma Stone recently shared her long-held dream of appearing as a contestant on Jeopardy!. But as she confirmed during an appearance on The Late Show, not Celebrity Jeopardy!.

“I don’t want to do Celebrity Jeopardy!,” Stone told host Stephen Colbert when asked why she didn’t just sign on for the special edition of the game show. He replied that she is, in fact, a celebrity so any episode she appears on would be Celebrity Jeopardy!.

“No, that’s not true,” Stone said. “If you know that you applied, you took the quiz, you got on the show by actually having the brains to be on the show. Not that Celebrity Jeopardy! people don’t have the brains, because I’ve seen some impressive candidates. However, I just want to know that I passed the test.”

She added, “This might be because I didn’t really graduate from high school and I didn’t go to college, and I like knowing I passed the test.”

In honor of Stone’s love for the show, Colbert revealed he prepared a Jeopardy!-style quiz for the actress. “Oh, boy. Now you’re going to understand why I haven’t gotten on the show,” she quipped. The questions all involved The Late Show or the Ed Sullivan Theater, but Stone did well.

Stone also discussed her new movie, Poor Things, and its Oscar nominations during the appearance. “It’s very exciting, just for the entire crew,” she said of her Oscar nod for Best Actress, as well as the film’s nomination for Best Picture. “It was many years in the making. We’re very, very excited.”

In an interview with Variety earlier this month, Stone that it’s her dream to compete on the game show. “That’s my favorite show,” she said. “That’s my dream. You know, I apply every June. Never got it.”

She added, “I really want to earn my stripes. I would like to go on real Jeopardy!, but you have to take the test. And you can only take it once a year with your email address, so every June I take the quiz, and they don’t tell you how you did. They just say, ‘We’ll let you know in the next nine to 12 months if you got on the show,’ and guess what? I haven’t gotten on the show. But I watch it every single night, and I mark down how many answers I get right. And I swear I could go on Jeopardy!.”
