A tradie behind bars for murdering his girlfriend is suing an elite private school alleging that he was s*xually abused by a bald teacher with a big nose blindfolded and s*xually abused as a teenager.
Richard John Vollmer, 48, was jailed for life in 2011 for stabbing to death his de facto partner Alissa De-Monie in a frenzied knife attack on her Gold Coast home.
Despite spending the rest of his days in a jail cell, the former tiler has filed a lawsuit for damages of $ 902,456 against the Anglican Church in Queensland.
He claims that the Brisbane Diocese Synod Corporation is responsible for the s*xual abuse he suffered as a student.

Vollmer’s lawsuit claims that he was s*xually abused when he was 13, 34 years ago, on at least 10 occasions by a teacher wearing shorts and long socks, the Courier Mail reported.
He claims the man was blindfolded and tied up in a chair in the school theater and chapel, before and after classes, and then s*xually abused him, with some of the assaults involving a broomstick and a candle.
Vollmer claims the teacher threatened to send him to a boy’s home or hurt his younger brother if he told someone about the alleged abuse.
The lawsuit was filed in Brisbane District Court earlier this month and alleges that the diocese is liable for negligence.
Vollmer is seeking $ 275,765 in future earning capacity losses, about $ 350 per week through age 67, and $ 260,000 in past earning loss due to trauma at $ 250 per week, retroactive to age 18.
He alleges that he suffers from PTSD, depression, panic attacks and flashbacks triggered by the abuse and also claims $ 55,000 in future treatment expenses.
The claim alleges the Corporation of the Synod of the Diocese of Brisbane is liable for negligence
The church has yet to present a defense to the lawsuit and a hearing date has not been set.
Vollmer was convicted by a jury after pleading not guilty to the murder of 41-year-old Ms. De Monie on October 18, 2009, at her Burleigh Heads home after a dinner with friends.
Ms. De-Monie’s body was found in the front room of her with 10 stab wounds to the back, which went through her left lung, pancreas, aorta, small intestine, and both kidneys.
Vollmer claimed that he acted in self-defense and later appealed her conviction, which was also dismissed.
During the six-day trial, the court heard that he worked as a boat builder, set designer and special effects expert before becoming a tiler.
