Kanye West refuses to go away quietly.
Heck, he refuses to go away at all.
Over the last several weeks, the mentally unstable rapper has openly slammed estranged wife Kim Kardashian as a parent, while also trashing and threatening her new boyfriend, Pete Davidson.
In response?
Kardashian’s legal team fired off a note last week to a judge in which she begged and pleaded for her divorce to at last be finalized, just about a year after she submitted the initial paperwork.
“Since filing for divorce, Mr. West, by his actions, has made it clear that he does not accept that the parties’ marital relationship is over,” these documents state.
“Mr. West has disseminated on social media the parties’ private communications and misinformation about personal family matters and co-parenting, which has caused emotional distress.
“Terminating marital status should help Mr. West to accept that the parties’ marital relationship is over and to move forward on a better path which will assist in peacefully co-parenting the parties’ children.”
Among other issues Kanye has made public of late, he’s expressed disdain for his young daughter having a TikTok account, blaming her famous mother for the development.
He’s also implied that the ex-couple’s nanny raises his four children, not Kim.
After Kardashian attempted in her recent filing to expose this harrassment and to expediate the divorce as a result, Kanye’s lawyers responded in their own official filing on February 25.
What they wrote was complete and total nonsense.
“The statement that ‘Kanye has been putting a lot of misinformation…on social media’ is double hearsay,” West attorney said in a new declaration, continuing as follows:
“Kim claims she read something online allegedly by Kanye and characterizes the posts in her declaration as misinformation.
“The social media posts are not attached to the declaration. Kim needed to offer the social media posts into evidence, and show that the posts were written by Kanye.
“Had that been done, the posts would be admissible as statements of a party opponent. Instead, Kim argues a point that is not in the record. The statement is inadmissible hearsay…so Kanye asks that it be stricken.”

In other, non-legal words?
West is trying to say that Kim cannot use his social media posts as any sort of evidence BECAUSE SHE CAN’T PROVE HE WROTE THEM.
This is obviously a laughable defense, partly because West himself admitted a few weeks ago to writing some wildly inappropriate things online.
“I know sharing screen shots was jarring and came off as harassing Kim. I take accountability. I’m still learning in real time. I don’t have all the answers,” he wrote back then.
“To be good leader is to be a good listener.”
The artist also said on Instagram that he did not have “BEEF” with Kim, that he “LOVES” his family and has “FAITH” that he and Kim will be “BACK TOGETHER.”
Ever since late late year, as Kardashian’s romance with Davidson grew more and more intense, the Yeezy designer launched numerous attacks on social media and in the press.
At one point, Kim spoke out against her ex after he accused her of allowing daughter North to have a TikTok account “against [his] will.”
She simply had enough at the time.
“Kanye’s constant attacks on me in interviews and on social media is actually more hurtful than any TikTok North might create,” the mother of four wrote on her Instagram Story earlier this month.
“As the parent who is the main provider and caregiver for our children, I am doing my best to protect our daughter while also allowing her to express her creativity in the medium that she wishes with adult supervision – because it brings her happiness.
“Divorce is difficult enough on our children and Kanye’s obsession with trying to control and manipulate our situation so negatively and publicly is only causing further pain for all.
“From the beginning I have wanted nothing but a healthy relationship because it is what is best for our children and it saddens me that Kanye continues to make it impossible every step of the way.”
