Earlier this week, we reported on a bizarre hit piece that appeared in The New York Post.
The author slammed Meghan Markle as obnoxiously “woke” and likened the Duchess of Sussex to a member of the Kardashian clan.
Yes, the Kardashians are not known for being excessively progressive in their politics, but it seems the “journalist” responsible for the piece couldn’t decide on one line of attack and instead went with a scattershot approach.
Anyway, the article must’ve been a hit, because the Post has decided to keep pushing the idea that Harry and Meg are a couple of ultra-privileged mega-libs.
In an article published on Wednesday, the outlet compiled some recent comments by professional sh-t-talker Angela Levin.
Levin is one of the many bottomfeeders of the UK tabloid media who have made careers out of hurling vitriol at the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
In her most recent tweet storm (reproduced by the folks at the Post, who are doing their best to be initiated into the international army of Harry and Meghan haters), Levin accuses Harry of “trying to create an alternative, woke royal family.”
“Harry and Meghan coming to UK for ‘charities close to their hearts.’ Will the Queen be in Balmoral, and William in USA for Earthshot? Is this part of an attempt at an alternative Royal Family?” Levin tweeted Monday.
“Odd time otherwise before H’s ‘bombshell’ memoir.“
Yes, Harry and Meghan are returning to the UK as part of their ongoing philanthropic efforts, and Angela is picking their actions apart in search of a reason to get upset.
In this case, her findings involve a wild conspiracy theory (there will never be an “alternative royal family,” Angela, chill) and some paranoid nonsense about Harry’s upcoming memoir.
The book seems to have struck fear in the hearts of the royals and their biggest bootlickers, which leads us to believe it must be a hell of a read!
“Surely if anyone is scared for their safety, they should keep what they are doing and where secret. Otherwise it’s more hypocrisy,” Angela’s ramblings continued.
This is a reference to Harry and Meghan’s security concerns.
Apparently, Angela thinks it’s hilarious that one of the most famous couples on the planet would show concern for the safety of their two young children.
When she briefly stepped away from Twitter this week, Levin told the Daily Mail that she thinks the Sussexes are “very determined to show that their way is the best way.”
“I’ve thought for a long time that Harry and Meghan are trying to create an alternative woke royal family, the grandeur and the pomp and circumstance that surrounds them,” Levin reiterated, apparently not realizing that her theory is bonkers even by Twitter standards.
“They are people who are very determined to show that their way is the best way.”
Yes, like the Post, Levin can’t decide on one attack plan, so she just throws everything at the wall in the hope that something will stick.
Harry and Meghan are too insecure, but also too confident.
They’re too crass and American in their demeanor, but also a pair of haughty elistists.
Levin likely harbors fantasies in which Harry and Meghan have done her some sort of specific harm, but she has no one but herself to blame for how obviously sad her life is.
And she should probably be sharing her complaints with a therapist, rather than the British public.
