One such clue is how the singer’s husband was seen looking slightly different weeks before the rumors began.

On July 31, 2023, Asghari uploaded several Instagram pictures of him and his mother. The first photo out of the three caught many fans’ eyes and is the first hint that he and his wife had problems in their relationship.

In the post – weeks before it was officially announced that the pair were divorcing – Spears‘ husband was seen embracing his mother, Fatima, while seated on a couch. While the image was sweet, a close-up of Asghari’s visible left hand showed how he isn’t wearing his wedding band anymore, but he wasn’t the only one.

The second sign that Spears and Asghari’s marriage was in trouble was June 23, 2023. At the time, the singer shared an Instagram video showing off her dance moves in bikini underwear and a top revealing her toned stomach.

The star’s wedding ring was missing on her ring finger as she waved her hands around. Part of the reason behind the couple’s marriage allegedly ending is that the pair often got in fights where screaming was involved, and Spears reportedly got physical.

Apparently, things between the duo, who started dating in 2016, got so bad that security got involved. Sources claimed Asghari has since left their marital home after marrying the musician in the California mansion in June 2022, with an insider saying:

The source said the couple’s relationship has been toxic for quite a while, and they’ve had constant drama. The insider believed the star will be devastated by a divorce, but Spears‘ representative and Asghari’s manager haven’t commented on the matter; however, a third sign of trouble in paradise reared its head in March 2023.

That month, Spears traveled on vacation to Cabo, Mexico, with Cade Hudson, her longtime friend and manager. Asghari was left behind in Los Angeles, and he and his wife were seen without their wedding rings.

A source claimed the singer’s husband didn’t stay at their California mansion that much after security had to break up one of their “volatile” arguments. It’s clearly evident that Spears and her husband aren’t seeing eye to eye after only 14 months of marriage.
