Israel continues to strike Gaza, killing dozens of Palestinians days after ceasefire ends

According to information from hospitals via The Associated Press, the recent strikes carried out by Israel claimed the lives of at least 58 Palestinians in the Gaza Strip overnight and extending into Thursday.

After a period of ceasefire, the Jewish State initiated attacks in Gaza earlier this week, resulting in a reported death toll of more than 400 Palestinians, a majority of whom were women and children, as stated by the Gaza health ministry run by Hamas.

Reports from The AP mention that Israel’s military successfully intercepted a missile launched by the Iran-backed Houthi rebels of Yemen on Thursday morning before it could breach Israel’s airspace.

Rep. Jared Moskowitz, D-Fla., said on X on Wednesday, “Hamas could end this war right now if it released the hostages held in Gaza. It could’ve done so months ago, but instead it’s brought devastation by prolonging this conflict. America must lead the world in pressuring Hamas to end this war and bring the hostages home.”
