Alan Jackson’s Trip Down Memory Lane to When He Became a Grandfather for the First Time

Alan Jackson is a grandfather of one after many decades of marriage. The Grammy-winning country music mogul’s grandson, born late last year, arrived just in time for his 43rd wedding anniversary with his wife, Denise.

The “Midnight in Montgomery” singer-songwriter Alan Jackson has once again expressed appreciation for his family on social media. He shared a picture of himself beside his wife as she cradled their first grandchild.

Alan had an air of pride in his smile, and his wife, Denise Jackson, also looked delighted to be present with the infant. Alan wore a green shirt and covered his head with a cream stetson. Denise wore a powder blue hoodie and let her blonde hair loose.

The caption read, “A day to remember! Alan and Denise with their first grandchild.” The text continued to promote the musician’s #AlansPreciousMemories campaign, encouraging fans to share their precious memories this April.

The image is a repost, as the singer originally used it to proudly announce their grandson’s birth. The December post’s caption revealed that Alan and his wife were celebrating their 43rd anniversary with the newborn named Jackson Alvie Bradshaw.

The caption detailed that their grandchild came into the world on December 13 and continued, “So happy that this little guy has made us grandparents! -AJ.” The singer’s grandson was born to his daughter Alexandra “Ali” Jane Jackson and her husband, Sam Bradshaw.

The family’s first December with Jack, Alan’s daughter Mattie Denise Jackson shared a few photos on Instagram, giving her followers an insider look at their first Christmas celebration with Alexandra’s son. She posted a throwback photo with her husband, Ben Selecman, followed by three pictures with Jack.

Mattie wished her followers a Merry Christmas and credited her day’s joys to her husband and newborn nephew. Although Mattie is not a mother, she is gaining experience with Jack. Alan’s eldest daughter shared a picture of herself bottle-feeding the newborn towards the end of January.

“Don’t I look like a pro?” she asked in the caption. Mattie then wrote about the lessons she takes from the mothers around her before writing a touching tribute to all mothers. “Thank you for paving the way and inspiring me and teaching me. Such a great cloud of witnesses indeed. Keep it up, mamas!” she concluded.

In 2017, Alexandra wrote on Facebook about her appreciation of having Alan as her father and providing the most loving upbringing for herself and her sisters. Alan raised three daughters with his wife; Mattie was born in 1990, eleven years after they tied the knot in 1979, Alexandra in 1993, and Dani Grace Jackson in 1997.

The first of Alan’s three daughters hosts and owns a podcast and blog called “She’s in the City.” She tied the knot with Ben in October 2017, and almost a year later, Ben tragically died in a mishap around a boat dock. Alexandra lives a more private life and married Jack’s father in July 2018.

The youngest of Alan’s kids also lives outside the spotlight despite her famous and celebrated father. Her life remains concealed from the media, and her Instagram account is private. Still, fans have watched her on her older sister Mattie’s Instagram account.
