On April 3, Shipp was ready for some fun in the sun as she posed in a tiger-printed bikini under blue denim overalls. She tied the look together with a bold pair of sunglasses and a straw hat and captioned the post, “Go outside.” In the comments section, fans praised the actress for her beauty, as one fan commented, “So pretty.”

Another fan shared the same sentiment, typing “Hottie!” and a third shared, “Still the coolest lady I can’t wait the meet one day (sic).” Originally from Phoenix, Arizona, Shipp relocated to Los Angeles to chase her dream of becoming an actress when she was 17.

She became well-known for her role as KT Rush on the Nickelodeon teen drama “House of Anubis” in 2011 after making her film debut as Valentina in the Fox feature film, “Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel,” in 2009. In 2014, Shipp played the late singer Aaliyah in the biopic, “Aaliyah: The Princess of R&B,” which earned her praise for her singing and dancing talents.

That same year, Shipp starred in “Drumline: A New Beat,” the sequel to VH1’s 2002 film, “Drumline.” Shipp also appeared in Universal Pictures’ Oscar-nominated movie “Straight Outta Compton” in 2015. The film, co-starring O’Shea Jackson Jr., soon became the highest-grossing music biopic. In 2017, she landed a role in “Tragedy Girls” before sharing the screen with Nick Robinson in the coming-of-age story “Love, Simon.”
