Washington native Amber Lancaster drew her first breath in Tacoma on September 19, 1980. Her love for dancing and performing ignited at six when she started giving free talent shows in her neighborhood. Lancaster would also visit nursing homes to share her talents and make friends.

Her passion for dancing remained, and she became a member of the NFL’s Seattle Seahawks cheerleading squad, the Sea Gals. It’s unclear when, but she moved to Los Angeles to pursue an entertainment career full-time. Between 2003 and 2006, she was a professional dancer on the music talk show “Soul Train.”

She is chiefly recognized for her portrayal of Jenny Swanson, the lead character’s love interest, in “The Hard Times of RJ Berger” between 2010 and 2011. The former Miss Washington Teen USA winner also joined CBS’s game show, “The Price Is Right,” as a model in 2008.

And while she has enjoyed the fruits of her work, Lancaster also nurtured her personal life. She tied the knot with a businessman in 2017, and the two started a family. Lancaster has yet to clarify when it happened, but their marriage ended in divorce.

Amber Lancaster Confirmed She Is Divorced

In a late 2022 TikTok video, Lancaster shed some light on how she responded to people who asked how she was doing after her divorce. The eight-second clip showed her standing in her kitchen holding a wine-filled glass, lip-syncing the words, “This is just a update, uhm, I am depressed, but I am skinny, and I am very pretty, so. (sic)”

She concluded the video with a shrug. With a more reflective tone on Valentine’s Day this year, she wrote that her life had “turned upside down” and was “almost taken” from her in 2020. “I felt like I had lost everything and wasn’t sure if I could ever dig myself out of that dark hole,” she penned.

Lancaster didn’t specify this tragic event, and it’s unknown what year her divorce occurred, but she is likely referring to her separation from her ex-husband. The last photo that featured him on her Instagram timeline is dated December 19, 2019.

She continued in her reflective post, detailing the downward spiral of her mental health during that time but noting that she made it to the other side of heartbreak. Since then, despite a few hard days now and then, she has been “thriving.”

Lancaster had even recited a journal entry about Allodi as part of her vows. In August 2019, the pair welcomed their baby boy, Russell Levi, two months before his due date.

It was a traumatic delivery for Lancaster, who faced several health complications that landed her son in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and her in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Lancaster only got to hold her baby a week after he was born and in between surgeries.
