Chris tagged the post #mylove #mauiwowi, captioned: “Lil love fest dump from Maui for ya.” One person gushed, “Aww, such beautiful pictures with a beautiful couple. I’m glad you guys got to spend time together.”
A fan got many likes for his comment, “Dude, you are ripped.” Michael Wittig agreed: “Looking ripped, brother.” “One adorable couple, and you’re looking ripped,” a third concurred.
Maui is a popular destination for the ripped and famous. Britney Spears visited the island in Hawaii last year, and Sydney Sweeney and Jonathan Davino were also snapped on one of its beaches a few years ago.

Seeing photos of himself online helped Chris Daughtry get himself back into shape as an adult. In his teens, he consumed a mass gainer and read bodybuilder Ronnie Coleman’s trips on bulking up.
However, life on the road, which came with his “American Idol” stardom, led to him picking up bad eating habits. He now sticks mostly to lean meats and vegetables. He told Muscle & Fitness:
“I have to change the way I look at food. I have to change my lifestyle and not make it a ‘diet.’ And so I started trying to dial it in, and then, this last year, I got really serious about it.”

“I think we both want to grow together,” Chris Daughtry said in a PEOPLE profile in mid-2019, during a period in his marriage to Deanna they termed an “open heart and growth season.”

The couple has been through many seasons since they got together in 2000. Chris admitted to infidelity after his quick assent to fame after almost winning “American Idol.”
Deanna and her rockstar husband worked through this period in therapy. She wrote about her bisexuality in what became Chris’ single “As You Are.”
