Angus Sampson’s wife has been a topic of interest among fans since the Australian shot to fame as an actor. However, despite his international reputation for filmmaking, the actor’s family, especially his wife and children, have steered clear of the limelight.

Angus Sampson is an Australian actor with experience in writing and directing, and he has made a name for himself in the Australian film industry and Hollywood. And off camera, he is a loving husband and doting father.

Despite his rise to fame, Angus Sampson has kept his wife and children’s privacy intact. However, the actor has spoken about being away from his family for long periods, revealing that it was “not good.”

Sampson was born in Sydney, Australia, and after graduating from Trinity Grammar School and The Armidale School in northern New South Wales, he enrolled and graduated from the Award School in 2002.

He has since pursued a career in the film industry but opened up about his reservations about becoming a “media personality” as he wanted to keep his wife — who, according to her husband, also has a career in the film industry — and two sons’ lives private. The actor rarely spoke about his sons, who would be 14 and 11 in 2023, but during an interview, he shared:

“[Fatherhood] gives me an opportunity to take my head out of my backside.”

However, his busy career has not been without its cons, as in 2014, the actor spent seven weeks away from his family doing publicity. “It’s not good,” he said.

In December 2022, Sampson took a break from acting.

Also, due to his impressive career, Sampson, his wife, and their two sons have lived worldwide, including in Los Angeles and Sydney. And while her career is kept under wraps, he opened up about the humorous way his wife and family supported his career after he was offered the role of Dom in “Bump.” He shared:

“Asked the rest of my family if I could and they were like, ‘Please, get out of the house. We are so sick of you and your unstimulated brain. We’re desperate for you to leave us’.”

In December 2022, Sampson took a break from acting and spent the festive season surrounded by the clear blue waters of Mexico with his family. And on Christmas day, he shared a snap of his and his family’s unique Christmas tree: a cactus.

“¡Feliz Navidad! 🎄Improvised my Xmas tree here in magical Mexico🌵🎁Hope Santa found ye & yours..🎅🏿💝,” the actor captioned the post. And in the comments sections, social media users and the actor’s friends showered him and his family with well wishes for the festive season and the New Year.
