Annette recently shared a cute, never-seen-before picture of her younger self on Instagram. The post was captioned, “First grade commemorative plate! Blessed Sacrament School. Houston, Texas.”

The picture was of a wide grey plate that had the actress’s photo embedded in it. The young Annette was all smiles, and her adorable thick curly hair was partially held midway while the rest of it rested softly on her shoulders.

The Actress Is a Mother of Two Successful Girls

The “Virgin River” star is a mother of two kids. Her children are Nell Clara Geisslinger, born on December 15, 1983, and Anna Geisslinger, born in the mid-1980s on December 31. The actress had her daughters with her ex-husband Bill Geisslinger.

Bill Geisslinger is known for his roles in “NewsRadio,” “Nowhere Man,” and “Crash Landing: The Rescue of Flight 232.” Bill and Annette married on April 8, 1983, and divorced in 1993. Annette is now married to her second husband, actor Michael McKean. The two tied the knot on March 20, 1999.

Annette lived in Houston for most of her childhood, where she enjoyed the Houston dance workspace managed by her mother. At age two, the actress made her TV debut when she joined “The Don Mahoney Kiddie Trooper Show.”

Nell and Anna attended Crossroads School in Santa Monica, California. After graduating from school in 2001, Nell joined Bennington College in Vermont but stayed for only a term. She left college and joined as an intern at the acting company her father works for, Oregon Shakespeare Festival.
