Apple said today that more than 600 apps and games will be available on its new mixed reality headset, its latest, long-in-the-works gadget that’s open for orders starting tomorrow.

The Tim Cook-led company is set to announce earnings this afternoon and Wall Street will be looking for any early guidance on the new Apple Vision Pro, which includes a Max app feature based on HBO hit series The Game of Thrones.

“With the Max app for Apple Vision Pro, fans can transform their space using the Iron Throne Room environment for an immersive experience that brings viewers into the iconic Red Keep,” said Casey Bloys, chairman-CEO of HBO and Max Content. “The intricate Targaryen-era adornments will make fans feel like they’re watching the programming available on Max in Westeros during the height of their reign.”

The Max app features movies and series, breaking news, and live sports, with select titles available in 4K and Spatial Audio with Dolby Atmos. The Vision Pro app is the spatial computing version of the streaming service, built on visionOS, Apple Vision Pro’s own operating system, Warner Bros. Discovery explained, for “a new and uniquely immersive way for Max subscribers to watch their favorite titles from our catalog of over 37,000 hours of programming.”

Last month, Apple unveiled the first round of Vision Pro apps that featured a shoutout from Bob Iger for the Vision Pro Disney+ app, with TV shows, movies and our “iconic environments” with immersive viewing options include The Disney+ Theater, inspired by Hollywood’s historic El Capitan Theatre; the Scare Floor from Pixar’s Monsters Inc.; Marvel’s Avengers Tower overlooking downtown Manhattan; and the cockpit of Luke Skywalker’s landspeeder, facing a binary sunset on the planet Tatooine from the Star Wars galaxy.

The Apple TV App includes a “Cinema Environment” that lets viewers transform a space into a personal movie theater where they can choose a favorite seat from the floor, balcony or front, middle or back row.

Today it ticked off a range of apps from entertainment to sports, gaming and work.

“Apple Vision Pro is unlocking the imaginations of our worldwide developer community, and we’re inspired by the range of spatial experiences they’ve created for this exciting new platform,” said Susan Prescott, Apple’s VP of Worldwide Developer Relations. “With more than 600 new spatial experiences to explore in the all-new App Store, alongside more than 1 million compatible apps across iOS and iPadOS, users can discover a wide array of apps that expand the boundaries of what’s possible.”
