Daniel’s cross-country message of support to his girlfriend was a sweet gesture. He reassured Ariana, “You always got me. I’ll cheer you on from the sidelines from New York. I’m only two thousand miles away.”
In an earlier part of the episode, Ariana shared her unexpected love story. She fell for Daniel last March, right in the middle of her explosive breakup with Tom. “I met Dan at one of my oldest friend’s weddings literally 10, 11 days after everything fricken blew up,” she said.
Daniel isn’t just a random guy. He’s a personal trainer and a bartender, and he lives in New York. So, yeah, they’re doing the long-distance thing.
And what about Ariana’s co-star, Scheana Shay? What’s her take on Ariana moving on so quickly? Well, she had something to say. “I don’t think Ariana has fully processed the trauma with Tom,” Scheana confessed.
But she added something else. “As long as Dan doesn’t sleep with one of Ariana’s best friends, he’s already a giant step up from her ex.” Ouch.
