Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Grandbabies Look Charming Months after He Kissed Youngest at Baptism

Maria Shriver and Arnold Schwarzenegger, her ex-husband of 25 years in 2023, became grandparents again when their daughter, Katherine Schwarzenegger, welcomed her second daughter in 2022. Katherine shared her children, both girls, with her husband, Chris Pratt.

In October 2022, the “Maverick and Me” author discussed the prospect of her and her husband having more children. Katherine, then 32, said she came from a big family and loved the idea of having lots of children around.

Arnold’s daughter noted, “Whatever God has in his plan for us is what we’ll do.” The “Guardians of the Galaxy” actor and his wife were parents to their oldest, Lyla, then two, and Eloise, then four months old.

Little Eloise was welcomed in May 2022, and the couple turned to Shriver for parenting tips. Katherine confessed that motherhood was a “balancing act,” but she felt lucky to have an “amazing role model” in her mother.

She learned by looking at how Shriver balanced everything around her. Pratt’s wife could bounce ideas off her mother, and she knew that family time was the most important of all.

In January 2021, it was revealed that Pratt and his wife officially moved into their Pacific Palisades mansion after renovations were completed. It took two years for the home to be renovated and customized to the couple’s specifications.

Fiver months before the move, the actor and Katherine welcomed Lyla. At the time, the newborn wasn’t walking, but she would grow up in a home with more than enough space to run around.

Like his daughter, Arnold lived in a mansion in Los Angeles’ Pacific Palisades neighborhood. During the “Terminator” star’s February 2022 “Jimmy Kimmel Live” appearance, he revealed how being a grandparent was the “easiest thing” to be.

He explained that when Lyla and his other grandchildren came to his house, he just had to play with them for an hour or two. Arnold said he’d place Lyla on his miniature horse and allowed her to play with his dog, and after two hours top of the visit, they would leave with their parents, and it was over!

On November 27, 2022, Katherine shared several Instagram photos showing her bonding with her family during Eloise’s baptism. In the post’s caption, she said they’d spent a weekend enjoying food, sharing love, baptizing, and enjoying their first holiday season with their family.

In the images, fans could see Shriver, Pratt, and Katherine’s other siblings and family members. The third photo in the reel showed Arnold’s back as he kissed his granddaughter while they sat together in a church pew.

The actor’s wife said she was “grateful” for the memories. Although Katherine and her husband never reveal their children’s sweet faces, the couple often shared images of their adorable duo.

On January 31, 2023, Katherine, who preferred privacy, uploaded a gorgeous and rare Instagram photo of her laughing as she hugged her precious daughters. The two girls faced away from the camera to help conceal their identities.

Fans’s were thrilled to see the most recent pictures of the pair, with one fan noting how “beautiful” they were. The follower also asked where their grandmother would play with and spoil the pair before sending the family love.
