Ashley Olsen Is Dating Younger Man after Split from 28-Year-Older Yet Her Only ‘Marriage’ Is to Her Twin

After years of having only her sister to lean on, which nearly made their relationship a marriage-type as described by the former actress, Ashley Olsen, one of the halves of the Olsen twins is now enjoying a stable relationship with a one-time close pal.

The Olsen twins were famous for their time on “Full House.” But these former child stars were not born to act and did not like how they were raised in the limelight.

It all began by accident, after their mother, Jarnette, who lived with her twins in the Valley around Hollywood, shared a photo of the girls with a casting agent, who happened to be a close pal.

Without wasting time, the babies got the role. But, while they charmed onlookers, John Stamos, the show’s producer, grew impatient, admitting that the babies became tough to market because they cried often.

Stamos voted to get the twins fired and tried re-casting their role, but it did not work, so the girls were re-hired. Mary-Kate became the twin mainly on set because her sister was scared to face the camera.

Decades later, the sisters confessed in a candid interview that they never loved acting. While going down memory lane, Mary-Kate, an equestrian, stated that they were like “little monkey performers,” adding that:

“I look at old photos of me, and I don’t feel connected to them at all. I would never wish my upbringing on anyone.”

Amid being plunged into acting, they also hated the attention from the media, so they decided to quit acting, maintain a life away from the paparazzi, and pursue their respective careers, which was fashion.

Throughout the time they dealt with the unwanted attention, the twins became extremely close, leaning on each other for support. Ashley once compared their bond to a “marriage and a partnership.”

Indeed, the girls have partnered as co-workers in the various businesses they have established, ranging from owning entertainment labels, fashion lines, and other big brands.

Despite the unison in vision and purpose, the women are very different in some of their life choices; they live in different cities. Also, Ashley admitted that their seemingly perfect relationship has dealt with its ups and downs.

As far as their love life is concerned, the women loved dating older partners. But while Ashley had never been married, her twin was once married. Now, Ashley is in a stable relationship following her separation from a former older lover.

Ashley’s relationship with Richard Sachs, a financier twenty-eight years her senior, was first noticed during their bike rides in Hampton.

It was later confirmed in November 2016, after they were spotted lip-locked while attending a New York basketball game.

It was a double date involving Mary-Kate and her former French husband, Olivier Sarkozy, who was also seventeen years older than her.

Later, the couples headed to an after-party, where they all had a swell time. Then, a few months later, the clique attended a wedding in New Zealand. 

Indeed, the sisters gave their fans something to smile about, as it appeared that they had gotten their perfect match. Mary-Kate mentioned how her routine was structured with her husband and two stepkids via an interview. 

An insider revealed that the couple was desperately trying to grow their family. But unfortunately, while the equestrian hoped to expand her family, her sister’s relationship with Sachs ended after five months.

According to a close source, the breakup meant that Ashley could focus on her fashion business. This was not the first time she would be linked to an older man.

Ashley was once in a romance with George Condo, a visual artist nearly thirty years her senior. Also, the CEO of “Oliver Peoples,” David Schulte, who was more than ten years older than the former actress.

Following her famous failed romances, one would have expected Ashley to give up on love. Still, the former onscreen diva maintained an open mind, leading her to the love of her life, which unexpectedly was a younger guy!

ASHLEY AND HER PARTNER, LOUIS, WERE FRIENDS BEFORE BECOMING A COUPLE

Ashley split from her financier lover in March 2017, and about six months later, she became hooked to Louis Eisner, an abstract artist.

The duo was photographed in August 2018, rocking casual outfits as they strutted the streets of Los Angeles, holding arms.

Many believed Ashley was engaged the following year because she was allegedly spotted wearing a diamond ring on her left hand.

Although the “Full House” star has maintained a low-profile lifestyle for many years and barely speaks about her love life, a few snaps have given her away recently.

Last year, Eisner shared a snap of his lover on a nature hike. The former child star donned white sweatshirts on top of her black tee and white linen pants. An oversized sunglasses framed her face, while her brunette tresses were shielded with a black hat.

Before this photo was shared, the couple were captured on a double date in New York City, holding hands. They joined Mary-Kate and her husband for a meal at Gemma restaurant at the Bowery Hotel.

Eisner was very welcomed by the family, as he joined them in celebrating the sisters’ 33rd birthday in 2019, which included a few loved ones.

Despite their two years age difference (Eisner is younger), they have managed to have a blissful romance and are not afraid to show it off. A few months ago, they attended their first event as a couple, the 20th Anniversary Gala.

While Ashley’s love life is perfectly stable, her sister is now a single pringle following her divorce from her French husband of five years.

Mary-Kate first filed for divorce from her older partner in 2020, but the process was stalled due to the coronavirus pandemic.

When the case was finally heard in court, the couple quickly reached a final agreement. Sources claimed that her fortunes were untouched following an iron-clad prenup.

On the other hand, Ashley’s romance is enviable. She is also blessed with a partner that shares a similar background.

Like his lover, Eisner, a bicoastal artist, knows what it means to be famous. He was raised in California by a famous mother, Lisa, who works as a photographer and jewelry designer.

Over the years, Eisner made a name for himself through his artworks after graduating from Columbia University. In 2013, Ivanka Trump purchased one of his art pieces.

MARRIAGE RUMORS?

More than once, Ashley has sparked engagement rumors. In 2019, many speculated that she might be walking down the aisle soon after sighting a classic black band on her ring finger during an outing with her beau.  

At the time, they had dated for about two years. After almost five years of being in a committed relationship, the headline reads that she may be married!

A few weeks ago, the paparazzi shot photos of the fashion designer during an outing in New York. An image showed a distinct gold ring sitting pretty on her left finger.

It does not matter what the public or tabloids run by the couple. However, one truth is clear, they are both in their happy place and could not have wished for a better love.
