Australia news LIVE: Biden considering dropping Assange prosecution; PM pledges boost to local manufacturing




US President Joe Biden says he is considering a request from Australia to drop the decade-long US push to prosecute Wikileaks founder Julian Assange and in a bid to define the economic agenda of the next election, Prime Minister Anthony Albanese will put a new law to federal parliament that promises a “future made in Australia”.
