Camera crews have been spotted in Todmorden filming for a BBC new drama today (November 29).
Film crews have set up cameras and shut a road to film the BBC series The Jetty, in Todmorden today. The programme features Jenna Coleman who plays a detective investigating a fire and a missing persons case.
Teams of people in hi-vis jackets were spotted inn the scene on Thursday, which is located on Lever Street Car Park in the town. The road outside the car park was also closed for the day to allow for the filming.

Tents were put up around Todmorden for film crews in Todmorden at the nearby filming locations and residents recalled how exciting it was for the town.
A local resident, Faye Blosse, said: “It’s so exciting to have this happening on your doorstep. It messed up my morning dog walk because we couldn’t get onto the canal using our usual route but seeing all the crew and cameras was worth the inconvenience.
“Todmorden and Hebden Bridge have been used for so many TV shows now but this is the first time I’ve seen it happening live. I lurked around the canal trying to spot some celebrities but I don’t think there were any – was hoping for a Sarah Lancashire appearance!”
