BBC The Traitors returned on Thursday evening with another explosive episode. Three out of the four traitors remained among the 16 contestants after another ‘Oscar performance’ from main traitor ‘ringleader’ Paul.

Paul survived yet another banishment as faithful Jonny was sent home by the group after Ross pointed the finger on Thursday night’s episode. Traitor Harry got ‘choked up’ after sending his ‘brother’ Jonny home after helping persuade others to vote for him but then beamed “I love this game”.

But it was Jaz who had once again called out Paul behind the scenes but no one put his name out in the open at the round table. Paul dodged the questioning while fans hailed Jaz as the “true detective” and “the quiet hero”.

Niamh posted: “Jaz being one of the only people not blinded by Paul’s performance is so funny give the guy more airtime #TheTraitor.” Nathan wrote: “The quiet hero of this series.”

Other factors came in to play as the episode played out as Anthony also aired suspicions over Paul who survived the dungeon, a banishment and a murder. Lou Brooke wrote: “Can Anthony and Jaz please get together and discuss Paul we need the alliance.”

X users also aired their own views on how the rest of the series will play out. Adam Perkins wrote: “Not murdering Jaz there could seriously backfire for Harry if he doesn’t back him & his (correct) call on Paul. And his upset over helping to banishing Jonny.”

People also applauded Paul’s second great performance at the table. Paul Gibbons agreed and said: “Paul is literally like one of those serial killers, who purposefully put themselves in a position to get caught, just for that extra thrill.”
