Ben Affleck Cleans Home, Eats Pizza Donuts, Does Crafts Buys Food at Farmers’ Market with Kids

Despite being one of the most recognizable actors in the industry and garnering a tremendous amount of $150 million, Ben Affleck enjoys living an ordinary life. Although he values his career and makes a point of doing his best as an actor, Affleck prioritizes his family and enjoys spending time with them.

His family-oriented approach to life started when he was married to his first wife, Jennifer Garner. The then-couple spent a lot of time with their kids, and Affleck commented that they had a relatively simple way of life.

At the time, Affleck commented that the family would often enjoy a home-cooked meal, and when quizzed on it, he said he never cooked. Instead, Garner was the family chef, and the “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” actor raved about her meals, saying they were excellent. He especially complimented her chicken.

Despite the significant change in his life, Affleck remained the same down-to-earth guy he had always been.

While Garner took the reigns in the kitchen, Affleck always jumped in after a meal. He said the washing up and other cleaning chores were his responsibility, and he did it without complaint. In fact, he said he “doesn’t mind” doing “all the cleaning.”

Sadly, Affleck and his first wife, Garner, separated. However, the actor found another chance at happiness with his previous love interest, Jennifer Lopez. And although things didn’t work out the last time they were together, they seemed determined to make it last this time.

Affleck is such a massive supporter of the Dunkin’ Donuts brand that he decided to treat the Medford firefighters to a few boxes of the frosted snacks paired with some drinks.

Despite the significant change in his life, Affleck remained the same down-to-earth guy he had always been. When they started dating again, Affleck decided to show off his culinary prowess by cooking Lopez a few meals instead of getting her attention by showering her with expensive items.

While Lopez dressed in eye-catching designer wear on their honeymoon, Affleck, who once admitted to having a rich life full of wonderful things, stayed true to form in simple jeans, chinos, sneakers, and shirts. The actor also kept putting his family first by spending as much time with his wife, kids, and new stepkids.

The filmmaker was spotted on a day out with his youngest biological son at a local farmer’s market. And besides buying oranges locally like everyone else, Affleck prefers to dine out at one of his local establishments. Jerome Brown claimed that the actor often stops by his Old School Diner for a bite and said he’s “very humble” and a “devoted human being”

Ben Buys His Favorite Donuts for Firefighters

But local diners aren’t the only things Affleck indulges in. The actor admitted that he has an insatiable love for the famous Dunkin’ Donuts. When asked about his sweet tooth, Affleck commented that he’s unbelievably glad the franchise has stores in L.A. and that his love for the treats began back in his hometown of New England. He said:

“I have Dunkin Donuts everyday. It’s very weird, I have it every day and people are always like, “Where is that? Is that near here?” So, I feel like I’m spreading the word.”

The actor showed up at a local firehouse and spent his day chatting away while handing out donuts to any fireman who wanted some.

The event happened after Affleck starred in a commercial for his favorite donut chain, which was filmed right before he decided to deliver the boxes of treats to the local firehouse. The actor reportedly helped with the script, directed it, and starred in the advert. He even wore the Dunkin’ Donuts shirt from the ad while passing out donuts.

During the filming of the ad, Affleck could be seen hanging from the local Dunkin’ Donuts order window with a headset on, all the while taking orders and chatting with customers. Apparently, he was even nice enough to cover the bills for the customers he served.
