Jay-Z has made no secret of his love for Beyoncé, not only as his wife, but also his admiration for her work ethic as an artist. In a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight Canada, the “99 Problems” rapper revealed what he loves most about working with his incredibly talented counterpart. “She’s super detail-oriented, obviously, as you can see from her work,” he said about the “Halo” singer. “She’s an incredibly hard worker, super talented, very inspiring.”
However, it now appears the two have some friendly competition as Beyoncé has just tied her husband’s record for the most Grammy nominations ever. The Houston native currently leads the pack with an astounding nine nominations for her album, “Renaissance,” Billboard reports. The nods bring the singer’s career total to 88 nominations, tying the record currently held by her husband Jay-Z. Beyoncé’s impressive number of nominations has positioned her to surpass the current Grammy-winning record holder, Georg Solti, who currently has 31 of the coveted awards.
