Blue Ivy Carter Spends Quality Time with Her Dad Jay-Z

Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s eldest child, Blue Ivy Carter, might be the spitting image of the Destiny’s Child alum, but she loves spending time with the Roc-A-Fella Records founder.

Jay-Z is a basketball fan, and it seems like Blue Ivy Carter loves the sport just as much. She was by her dad’s side at Game 5 of the NBA Finals in San Francisco on June 13, 2022, looking just like her famous mother, Beyoncé.

Although Blue Ivy and her dad wore similar black outfits, the girl’s stunning hair made her look just like a carbon copy of the “Crazy in Love” singer. It feels like Blue Ivy was born yesterday, but she is no longer a baby.

HOW OLD IS BLUE IVY CARTER?

Born on January 7, 2012, Blue Ivy is already ten years old. Her maternal grandmother, Tina Knowles, celebrated the girl’s birthday by posting a photo on social media. People couldn’t help but notice that Blue Ivy was almost as tall as Knowles. 

In the caption, Knowles revealed she wanted Blue Ivy to be born on her birthday (January 4). Although she didn’t, they still have a beautiful bond, with Knowles calling Blue Ivy her little “Capricorn Twin.”

Blue Ivy gives such great pieces of advice that Knowles would sometimes forget she is still young. The proud grandmom added that Blue Ivy was one of the rare gifted individuals who could do everyone well.

Although Blue Ivy has not even finished middle school, she has already modeled with her mom and younger sister, Rumi, for the Ivy Park Halls of Ivy December campaign.

Blue Ivy is no stranger to working with her famous mother. In 2020, she appeared in Beyoncé’s visual album “Black is King.” Blue Ivy also provided her voice for “Brown Skin Girl” and won a Grammy Award. 

While Beyoncé and Jay-Z have multiple nannies and assistants to help them with Blue Ivy and their twins, they love to spend as much time with them as possible.

Knowles revealed that Beyoncé did not believe spanking was the right way to discipline their kids. Instead, she would talk and reason with them.

JAY-Z’S DATE WITH HIS DAUGHTER, BLUE IVY CARTER

Coming back to Jay-Z and Blue Ivy’s father-daughter date, they went together to the Chase Center in San Francisco, Los Angeles, to watch the Golden State Warriors beat the Boston Celtics for Game 5 of the NBA Finals. 

One of the night’s funniest moments for Jay-Z and Blue Ivy came when they appeared on the Jumbotron. As the announcer told the crowd that Jay-Z was in the building, he side-hugged and pulled Blue Ivy towards him to kiss her on the cheek.

However, Blue Ivy tried to break free from her dad’s hold and laughed. Twitter users pointed out that the young girl was as embarrassed as any other preteen if their dad tried to kiss them in public.

Another netizen joked that Blue Ivy didn’t want Jay-Z to mess with her hair. One user added that Blue Ivy was the only person capable of keeping the award-winning rapper and musician humble. Their beautiful bond was undeniable!
