BODHI WAS INTRODUCED TO THE WORLD IN 2014

Bodhi Ranson was born on February 12, 2014, at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles. The young boy’s name pays homage to Buddhism beliefs as Bodhi means awakened and may be translated to “enlightenment” in English.

Fox’s pregnancy was no secret to the public as she and her then-partner announced the news in August 2013. Back then, the “Transformers” star opened up about her firstborn, Noah becoming an older brother. She said:

“I think [Noah is] going to be an amazing big brother with time. I think he has an idea, but I don’t think he understands that a baby will be living with us all of the time – that will be an adjustment.”

As the firstborn, Noah liked being the center of attention. His mom also described him as “a really sensitive child,” which made him the perfect older brother. “I think that he’s going to be a nurturer,” she added.

Bodhi’s parents did not go without critics for their parenting style. In 2018, Fox and Green were called out for allowing their children to grow their hair long, being mistaken for girls.

She was 18 at that time, while Green was 30. Nevertheless, age never became a factor that hindered their relationship. In 2010, the couple tied the knot at the Four Seasons Resorts in Hawaii, but sadly, their marriage only lasted five years as they separated in August 2015. Green later said:

“Marriage is hard. It’s work. I think for anyone. When you get to the point that we have, you have kids, and you’ve been married for a while, you just take it day by day.”
