A 14-year-old boy was repeatedly punched in the face by a man who was with a group of people at Skipton bus station.

The attack happened between 5pm and 6pm on the evening of Saturday, December 2. The victim suffered significant injuries his eye socket and was taken to hospital for treatment which is ongoing due to the severity of the assault.

North Yorkshire Police are appealing to anyone who was at the bus station at the time and witnessed the incident and the events leading up to it, to get in touch. The force is also appealing to anyone who knows about the incident and has any information that can help them identify the suspect or the group of people he was with, to contact them.
